Free greyhounds in the U.S. and worldwide

Help end dog racing

The cruelty of greyhound racing knows no borders. Throughout the world, racing dogs are born to a life of misery. Even the most successful greyhounds find themselves abused, abandoned, starved, neglected and killed. You can help save gentle hounds by supporting our campaign to end racing worldwide today.

Donate $75 or more and you can receive our campaign kit including a GREY2K USA Worldwide t-shirt, bumper sticker, campaign button, canvas tote and travel mug. For an additional $25 we will include our enamel greyhound pin!

We are thrilled to announce the first federal bill in US history to end dog racing! Sponsored in chief by Representative Tony Cárdenas of California, the Greyhound Protection Act will make it a federal crime to engage in commercial dog racing. Following swiftly on the release of our successful investigation of live lure training by greyhound breeders in three American states, this legislation could not be more important for both hounds and rabbits.

GREY2K USA Worldwide was the chief sponsor of Florida's Amendment 13, the successful 2018 ballot question to prohibit dog racing in its oldest and biggest US state. Eleven tracks were ordered to shut down and thousands of greyhounds released for adoption by December 2020.

Also in 2018, China’s only legal dog track closed its doors and over 500 surviving greyhounds were airlifted to safety in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.

Then, in March and June of 2020, the last dog tracks in Alabama and Texas closed down. Iowa Greyhound Park held its last race on May 15, 2022 and Arkansas followed on December 31. The trend is with the greyhounds!

Which track will be next? Your gift helps us continue the momentum to free greyhounds everywhere.
