GREY2K USA is the largest greyhound protection organization in the United States.  As a non-profit 501(c)4 organization, we work to pass stronger greyhound protection laws and to end the cruelty of dog racing on both national and international levels. We also promote the rescue, rehoming and adoption of greyhounds across the globe.

As we grow, GREY2K USA continues to use resources efficiently. Below is a summary of our 2010 expenditures.

  • Programs: 84% of all 2010 expenditures were used directly for programs including legislative advocacy, ballot initiatives, legal research, and public education about the cruelty and killing of Christinegreyhound racing.

  • Development: 11% of 2010 expenditures were focused on the production of adoption information and educational materials for the general public, distribution of campaign updates to supporters, upgrades to our web site, and other member services.

  • Management & General Expenses: 5% of 2010 expenditures paid for registration and reporting in racing states, legal and accounting support, and administrative costs for our Massachusetts headquarters.

  • Total Annual Expenses: $337,325.00.
