Year of The Dog

Dear Friend,

A new year is starting and there is no better time than today to help save greyhounds from closing dog tracks.

In honor of the Year of the Dog, three of our special GREY2K USA Education Fund supporters will double all of your tax-deductible donations up to $40,000 through midnight tonight. Their offer even includes all new monthly pledges!

Match my gift

We work throughout the year to raise funds for adoption, but when tracks close, we really go into action! In 2017, we sponsored dogs leaving Mobile Greyhound Park in Alabama and in 2016, our focus was on the hundreds of dogs released from Tucson Greyhound Park in Arizona. This year will see the closure of China’s only legal dog track, the Canidrome, so we are now preparing to help airlift over 600 dogs from what has been called the “world’s worst dog track.” Before now, no dog ever got out alive from this terrible place!

Magic the Greyhound

But this is truly a new day and a new year for greyhounds. You can help us save greyhounds like Magic, one of the first dogs to survive racing in China. Thankfully, she will soon begin a new life with our UK Director, Kerry Elliman — but her buddies are still waiting.

Won’t you please help them, too? Make a tax-deductible gift for greyhounds and it will be doubled through midnight tonight. Hurry!

For the greyhounds,
