Florida Greyhounds Near the Finish Line, Calls Needed Today!

Friends:

The greyhounds need your help! With only days left in the legislative session, lawmakers in Tallahassee are divided on whether to prop up dog tracks by giving them slot machines.

If the greyhound tracks are given slots, it will be a legal requirement that dog racing continue. That would mean that dogs would continue to endure lives of terrible confinement and suffer fatal injuries for decades to come.

We must defeat this dangerous proposal!

Please call the following lawmakers right away. Tell them that greyhound racing is cruel and inhumane, and ask them to vote NO on propping up greyhound racing with expanded gambling.
