Just Two Weeks Left to Enter Our 2010 Calendar Contest!

Dear Greyhound Friends,

Thank you to everyone who has already submitted a photo of their Best Friend (or Friends)! We are still accepting entries for our special edition 14-month calendar, which is dedicated to the thousands of dogs who have been rescued from racetracks nationwide.

Don’t forget, the deadline is August 31, 2009—that’s just two weeks away. Submit your photos today!

Submission Rules:

• One photo entry per dog



• Include your dog’s name, tattoo numbers and history of 150 words or less



• Photo must be of 300 dpi quality (or greater) at 8.75" high x 11.25" wide



• Photos must be horizontal (wide/landscape) format, not vertical (tall/portrait) orientation



• E-mail entries to calendardog@grey2kusa.org



• Photos cannot have been published in other calendars



• Be sure to include your name and address



• Deadline to submit photos is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, August 31, 2009

Fourteen dogs will be selected, one to represent each month. Unfortunately, entries that do not meet all of the criteria above will be disqualified. Winners will be asked to sign a release granting use of the photo to GREY2K USA.

Our new calendar will highlight special victories and major accomplishments in the campaign to end dog racing. We will announce the winners in the early fall and take advance orders at that time.

Remember, the submission period ends on August 31, so be sure to send us your Best Friend’s photo and story as soon as possible!
