Lawmakers Consider Bill to Continue Dog Racing, E-mails Needed
Dear Greyhound Friends,
Yesterday, state lawmakers held a hearing on a bill (Senate Bill 2041) that would extend dog racing until 2012.
This dangerous bill must be defeated.
Please send an e-mail to your state lawmakers today and ask them to oppose S. 2041, and uphold the will of the voters on Question 3. You can find your state lawmakers by clicking here. Please note that your state lawmakers will be listed as Senate in General Court and Rep in General Court.
Finally, if you receive a response from your state lawmakers please forward it to us.
Together, we can defeat this dangerous proposal and make sure that the cruelty of dog racing ends on January 1!
