Calls Needed to Help Greyhounds in Pennsylvania!

In the next few weeks, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives will likely vote on a bill (Senate Bill 214) to make it a crime to simulcast greyhound races in the state of Pennsylvania. Let's work together to pass this bill.

Even though live greyhound racing was prohibited in the Keystone State several years ago, it is still legal for people in Pennsylvania to gamble through simulcasting on dog races taking place in other states. Pennsylvania citizens should not be supporting the cruelty of dog racing!

Please help the greyhounds today, by making two phone calls.

First, please call State Representative Dwight Evans, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, and ask him to put SB 214 on the Appropriations committee agenda for a vote. His phone number is 717-783-1540.

Then, call State Representative Todd Eachus, House Majority Leader, and let him know you support SB 214 and want it moved through Appropriations to the House floor for a vote. His phone number is 717-787-2229.

Be polite, and tell them how important SB 214 is to you.
