Dear Friends,
This year we dedicate our annual newsletter to all the greyhound puppies who have been
born into the cruel industry of dog racing.
Many never made it off the breeding farm, others died while racing, and still
others were killed rather than adopted. This is the terrible
underbelly of greyhound racing.
There is good news to share, however. According to the National Greyhound
Association, just as the number of operating dog tracks has been cut in half since
GREY2K USA’s formation in 2001, the number of dogs bred to race has declined
nationally by almost as much. Greyhounds
are now being born to be loved, not raced!
Read our annual newsletter now to learn more. Then, please consider buying some our new holiday cards, greyhound ornaments or 2011
calendars to celebrate the halfway mark in our fight to end dog racing.
Even more, for a gift of $50 or more, we will send you a baby greyhound doll with one of
our new Puppy Power buttons. This is just our way of saying thank you for all your help and support this
year.
