Dear Friend,
On Thursday, the full Senate of Arizona voted 28-2 in favor of ending dog racing at Tucson Greyhound Park! This historical moment was preceded by Wednesday's lobby day in which seventy-five animal advocates worked all day in the capitol to ask lawmakers to support SB 1273.
GREY2K USA President Christine Dorchak addressed participants as did our new lobbyist, Gretchen Jacobs of Arizona Governmental Affairs. We are very grateful to the Humane Society of the United States for inviting us to speak and wish to particularly thank state director Kari Nienstedt for her love of the greyhounds. We will continue to lobby hard as the bill now moves for a vote in the House of Representatives.

To celebrate this continuing progress and to help raise needed funds for the rest of the session, we are now introducing our first campaign auction! Please consider bidding for some of our beautiful jewelry, artwork, home decorations, clothing items and more. Every item was donated by wonderful volunteers just like you.
Help end dog racing by bidding today.
Good luck to all!
Sincerely,
