Grey2K USA:Protecting Greyhounds Nationwide

Greyhound Protection Update - May 6, 2008

Florida Victory for the Greyhounds!

Today, we bring you great news.

In January, we asked for your support in our fight to defeat new attempts to install slot machines at Florida racetracks.  A dangerous series of bills sought to prop up the cruelty of dog racing with profits from expanded gambling.

The good news is that the legislative session has closed with the defeat of all dog track bills.  One track owner has even said he is giving up on trying to get slots.  This victory would not be possible without your financial support.  Thank you all!

A “greyt” way to help fund our continuing efforts to end the cruelty of dog racing nationwide is by ordering your Mother’s Day gifts – flowers and more – through the I-Give-GREY2K USA Charity Mall.  With over 700 retail companies listed, you can generate a donation for the greyhounds when you buy china from Lenox, music or books from Barnes & Noble, cruelty-free cosmetics from Crabtree & Evelyn, or a beautiful arrangement from FTD or Teleflora.

We also offer jewelry and other gifts online, so please consider ordering a greyhound necklace or pin directly from GREY2KUSA.  We will process all orders immediately.

Mother’s Day is Sunday, so act now!
